Daemon Larp<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201cDaemon\u201d is a collaborative Nordic style larp that focuses on the connection between a human and their manifested inner self or soul – the Daemon.<\/p>\n

The core vision for this larp is experiencing how it is to play the same character as someone else and be in symbiosis with them in an extreme form of dyadic play. You don\u2019t sign up in pairs to be family, lovers or anything of the sort – but two parts of the same being.<\/p>\n

The larp is set in a world inspired by\u00a0<\/i>the trilogy of novels \u201cHis Dark Materials\u201d by Phillip Pullman. The setting for the larp is a free interpretation of what could happen after the author\u2019s trilogy ended and the storylines in the material is not important to this larp, so mostly it is the human-Daemon connection that is the important concept to understand. It is a dyadic larp, meaning that you play in close pairs and that you together as two people portray one character – one is the human and the other is the daemon.<\/p>

\u201cDaemon\u201d is designed to be an experience where you don\u2019t need to remember an abundance of historial or setting material to participate – all relevant information and background can be found on this website – so no need to know \u00a0the details of the original novels. The larp itself is all about the emotional connections between humans, their daemons and their peers.\u00a0<\/p>

The themes of the larp are human connection, free will, desires, the horrors of war, existentialism, disillusionment, morality and the nature of the human soul.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
