Sign-up process
You will sign up in couples where one plays the human and the other the Daemon. Both players have to sign up seperately and mention the other player in the couple in their sign up form. One will play a human and one a Daemon. Sign-up is open from the 13th of November-4th of December 2025.
I fully acknowledge that it can be daunting to find a partner and maybe even get rejected in the process of asking someone. However, you are encouraged to sign up with a partner without any organizer help.
There will be 6 subsidised tickets for each of the Czech runs, at 150 EUR. These will primarily be earmarked for lower-income larpers from the Czech Republic, as a way to give back to the community.
We will also offer 4 guaranteed spots per run (for 2 player pairs) for people who will come to one run as helpers and to the other as players. Helpers will be expected to help out in the kitchen, with washing dishes, serving food, preparing sets and carrying things, plus playing minor roles (upon agreement). We will give preference to people signing up as a team of 4, looking to work together.
Casting process
You will receive a list of the people who signed up to note if there is anyone you think should be “red flagged” (safety measure) or “yellow/orange flagged” (experience preference) on the 5th of December 2025. Then you have until the 11th of December 2025 to state if you have any issue with anyone on the list. The flag colors mean, respectively if you think a player is unsafe and shouldn’t participate or if you are okay with them being at the larp but you don’t want a close relation with them for any reason/want to be on another run than them.
You will know if you got a spot on the 14th of December 2025. You will receive a character sheet after you have paid for the LARP (or the first installment). Human and Daemon will receive the same character sheet, and they are all pre-written. In each character, there are three different options of what kind of animal the Daemon is. The character will be written where all the three different kinds of Daemons would fit in.
Maching characters and players will not be on a “first come, first served” basis. It will be a mixture between lottery (24 spots) and casted (10 spots) after the sign-up period ends. This means that we will draw the first couples randomly and match then with regards to the kind of play they want and then I will see which characters are not assigned and find players whose wishes for play fit the remaining characters.
A few spots of these will be reserved for people who have helped with my larps in the past and people who have signed up multiple times without getting a spot (both of these types of players participating require that there is no issue in the flagging process like with everyone else).
On the 14th of December 2025 you will know if you got a spot
